A CELEBRATION OF DANCE STYLES FROM AROUND THE WORLD.
For one day every year, the market town of Bakewell in Derbyshire, hosts a celebration of dance and music from around the globe. Now firmly established as the highlight of Bakewell Carnival Week, this all day event, will showcase a wide variety of dance styles, at a series of venues around the town.For those that might like to take part themselves, Dance Workshops will be held throughtout the day in the Town Hall, to introduce beginners to the range of styles showcased. The day will then finally culminate in the evening, with an exciting and lively social dance event in the Bakewell Town Hall.
For this exciting tenth anniversary year, we will have all our old favourites returning, but in addition we will be welcoming some new groups to add to the lively vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
